Love between taste and color. Saffron is a sweet-smelling spice with a soft exotic aroma. For the precious saffron, parts of the pistils of the saffron crocus are harvested manually. Just one thread of saffron is enough to turn a liter of boiling water a deep yellow in an hour.
Saffron is used in tea, sauces, desserts, bread dough and rice and fish dishes (risotto, paella) and gives these dishes a beautiful yellow color and a very refined taste.
